1977 Ford Fiesta L review from UK and Ireland
"100 quids worth of Dodge Viper power!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The starter motor died whilst driving from Kent to Cornwall, and the Thermo-switch broke so I had to wire the cooling fan to the ignition.
General comments?
A very reliable car which refused to die! She was dented and hand painted with a brush (Dodge Viper stripes), but I loved her till the end.
When her floor finally gave in, she sat in my garage for six months, by which time I managed to blow the engine in her replacement (An 1100 mk3 escort) and so I transplanted her engine into that and she's still running today!
