2019 Ford Mondeo Titanium Edition 2.0 turbo diesel from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Stunning

Faults:

Nothing yet, I have only had it a year and it is a 3 year old car with low mileage, so I wouldn't expect anything less.

General Comments:

Good looking big car, I love this 2019 Mondeo, Titanium Edition is near top range and has leather and electrics. Alloy wheels look great. The car looks and feels as good as new.

Huge boot, lots of space, very comfortable, I like using this car day by day. Silver metallic with black leather, nice combination. Key-less start and entry.

2.0 TDCi has plenty of power even with the auto-box, smooth to drive and quiet and refined. Could be more economical - a car this modern being a diesel I was expecting high 50's or even 60 mpg, but 45 - 50 is more likely in reality. Maybe the manual version could manage slightly better economy.

Still, with the performance it is worth it - about 180bhp, 0-60 in 8 sec, can get close to 140 mph. Not super fast by today's standards, but more than enough for daily driving.

In short if you are looking at a modern Mondeo at a good price, and it is looked after with history, go for it, they are pretty much the perfect all round car, in just about any engine and spec.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Economy might improve with age and mileage - is it still relatively low mileage and new?

I have a 2.0 diesel with the auto from 2018, now on 50,000 miles, pretty sure it is probably the same engine as yours, I get an average of 58 mpg, not bad. Calculated accurately myself, still do not trust the trip computer on modern cars.
