And yes you can put dual exhaust on the car. you just have to fabricate some hangers, but it fits right in I did it on mine.

I've seen stock Duratecs Taruii with dual exhaust. (Gen III 96-99) And of course the SHOs have dual tips as well.

I own a 98 SE and guess what, I have dual exhaust tips from the factory.

You should Race my "4 banger" Impreza STi and lets see if you still talk big after that.

Considering most V6 stangs are 3.8 or 4.0 motors, you're full of it buddy. A 3.0 6 won't beat a 4.0 unless the stang driver has an automatic and/or doesn't know how to drive.

Yeah, but does your 4-banger have dual exhaust? That's what REALLY makes 'em fast! Especially when you put chrome tips on them.

No my STi does not have dual chrome pipes because I am too cheap to shell out 60 bucks at Auto zone for them. But I do have AWD and the custom STi exhaust.

My 1996 Pontiac Trans Sport minivan with a 3400 beat a 3.8 V6 Mustang in a street race. It had to have been the funniest thing I've ever seen. AND, the Mustang was a stick. So yes, I believe the Taurus might take it. Especially if it has the DOHC 3.0. Oh, and yes, I've heard that putting chrome tips on your muffler along with "Type R" stickers on your trunk and windshield increases your horsepower by like 80-100 or something! I'm going out and buying some for my Geo Metro! Then it'll be a REAL rice burner!

The Pontiac Trans Sport comment does not surprise me in the least. They are quick.

While I do agree the minivan is probably quick, I doubt it would beat a v6 mustang. The Mustang is lighter and has pretty good torque.
