1995 GMC Pickup 4x4 5.7 liter from North America

Summary:

They still built great cars in the good ole USA

Faults:

Replaced radiator due to side seal leak.

Clutch.

Intake gasket.

Air conditioner compressor.

Exhaust including catalytic converter.

Hood repainted due to paint flaking off in strips.

General Comments:

This is the best vehicle I have ever owned. The interior including carpet and seat, still look new when clean. There is only a small worn tear on the edge of the seat.

I have been into the engine or transmission, other than a clutch, and it still only uses about a 1/2 quart between changes. People cannot believe what great shape this truck is in. I get about 19-20 mpg on the highway and it's a 4WD. There is no rust on any body panels.

The only issue I have currently is the paint on top of the cab is starting to come off. I think the primer releases the paint after a few years. Maybe they have a better paint system now.

This is true American Quality, and I'll never buy a foreign car.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
