1991 GMC Safari SLX review from North America
"Well worth the money, Reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
We installed TV/VCR Super Nintendo at around 40,000 miles and was too much on altenator. Changed altenator at 95,000 miles.
Altenator changed again at 230,000 miles.
Water pump changed at 235,000 miles.
Pasenger side Fuel Injector replaced at 243,000 miles ($75.00).
General comments?
We have pulled everything with this van since we bought it...Boats, Car trailers, Four wheelers you name it! Allways pulled around 3,000 to 5,500 pounds each time trailering.
Installed aftermarket Heavyduty Transmission Cooler for Class A. coach and the transmission is still pulling strong today!
We love this van! We can pull our boat to the lake and ride seven people with us in the van! What other mid size van can say that?
