1993 GMC Sonoma SLE review from North America
"A great running and very dependable truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 160,000 I know that the previous owner rebuilt the engine completely.
Most recently I've replaced all brake lines, rotors, calipers, and pads.
Transmission has a vibration, but when greased it stops.
The seats are worn, but I have a bench seat cover to help.
General comments?
I bought this truck for $1,500 about a year ago and I will never regret the purchase because the truck is great.
I get good gas mileage to and from school and work and wherever else I go. I drive 35+ minutes to school everyday. And from school to work about 45. I usually only fill up once a week with all the driving I do.
The truck is very reliable.
It only has minor rust and that's with the Michigan winters it has been through. The only spots rusting are the cab corners and the lower tailgate.
I love driving the truck its fairly spacious for a taller person like myself. You wouldn't expect to see a tall person in this truck considering its size, but it is pretty spacious for me.
