Power window solenoids have both failed.
Parking brake lever broke at the cable end.
It's been a great buy from the start.
It always starts and never misses a beat.
Very low maintenance costs.
But, though it has good low end torque, it has little power for passing.
Finally, gas mileage should be better with an engine this small.
I have a 1992 GMC Sonoma as well, I drive it on the farm. It has an extended cab and the V6 engine. I drive it real hard, in fact I have tried to kill it, but it won't die. The little beast has been running great this winter despite or sub-zero temperatured we've been having here in Ontario (Canada). I hope you enjoy your truck as I do mine, Ben.
I have a 1992 gmc sonoma sle 4x4 club coupe... Had the truck since it was new decided to keep it as a spare when I got my new truck. It has the 4.3, 5speed, new venture gear trans which is tough as nails, 3.42 with factory posi, heavy duty tow package and oversized radiator. I use this truck for hunting and hauling things around the farm... It takes a beating, but never fails... Very hard to get this baby stuck in mud! I love my old truck.
