1977 GMC Suburban Siera Classic review from North America
"A great, strong running machine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only things wrong with the car is rust. It has way over 200,000 miles on it and runs without a problem. The radio does not work well, and the a/c does not work. While driving on the highway, you can feel wind from the broken sealing on the windows, which has occurred over time. Got new tires in 1993. Crack in windshield, manifold came loose over time. Still strong running.
General comments?
Great handling, power steering, more power than you need. It has a 300+ HP Chevrolet 350 in it, (gas), the only down side is its 10mpg gas mileage. The car has been used to pull a bulldozer out of the mud on more than one occasion, large weight flat towing, and off roading, and pulling down trees. Old leather seats give it a 70's style comfort. Larger than any current suburban today, so you'll feel like you can run over that Honda in front of you. It has a 2" lift eqivalent stock, plus 31 inch tires look great.
