1988 Holden Barina SL 1.3 petrol from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

A good car if looked after

Faults:

Front end rattles. interior is very worn. new battery.front brakes. over heated real bad. new thermostat.new rear shocks. broken exhaust due too bad shocks. new alternator.front steering is a mess I ain't even going to bother with it. rust in tailgate.

General Comments:

It was a nice car when I bought it for $500.the 2000 kilometers later it turned into something else. every time I fix something another thing goes wrong. i must say these cars are quite quick and fuel efficient. but they are very rattle prone and are expensive to keep in good order.

1988 Holden Barina ML 1.3 from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

A fast car the words

Faults:

Faded Paint on roof.

Blown Head Gasket at 290,000 Kilometres.

Drivers seat worn badly.

General Comments:

Very fast car and fuel efficient at the same time. Good off road handling. A good modification if you can is to get the dashboard out of a GTi (It is black with better gauges etc) or if possible even the whole motor.
