1974 Holden Kingswood SL 4.2V8 from Australia and New Zealand

Good car
Faults:
Hydraulic lifters became very noisy early in the piece. Electrical problems seemed to plague the car for the whole time of ownership. Had every major component replaced or rebuilt. In its last years, rust was also becoming a major issue.
General Comments:
Makes me cringe when people say to me these were a good car in their day. They probably were, but there are much better vehicles avalable today. My advice would be don't spend too much money on one of these cars. They are not an investment. Mine was good daily transport for many years and I'm happy to leave it where it belongs - in my past.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
