1984 Holden Statesman WB 5.0 from Australia and New Zealand

Budget well built luxury car

Radiator required replacement.

Air conditioner compressor leaked.

Auto transmission required a rebuild at 215,000K.

Differential noisy and required attention.

General Comments:

Performance of the car is effortless.

Very comfortable interior.

Dated, although classy styling.

Most people are impressed when they go for a ride, even those with late model cars.

Handles well for a large car.

The review of the Statesman was pretty much spot on. Although mine has only suffered a power steering box seal failure. Although there is a knock in the back (possibly diff) still to be identified. Thanks for your time.
