2003 Holden Statesman WH 3.8 V6 from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

Fabulous, luxurious, sheer comfort

Faults:

The drivers seatbelt began to fray and had to be replaced.

General Comments:

This is my second statesman that I am using as a Taxi in South Australia, the comments from my passengers are always positive and how comfortable the ride is, I recently took 2 Americans from a cruise ship on a 5 hour tour of Adelaide, and they said it was the most comfortable car they had ever been in, my first statesman has just reached 330,000 Km.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Hi, good to see some positive feedback, look I am thinking of buying a new statesman or the 2000 model. I wouldn't mind lowering it and putting some mags on it... do you think this car would be the right car to do so? I think a sleek luxurious car with steet cred is the way to go.

My 2003 is fantastic. Completely original, even down to the fluids I put in with 150k. Martini with charcoal leather, 5.7 litre LS1 with 315 hp. It's smooth, quiet and has menacing hidden power. I drive it like a grandpa and look after it, and it has never let me down - love it to pieces!
