1992 Honda CRX x review from UK and Ireland
"Style, speed and handling for those who can't afford a Porsche.."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Small leaks - that's about it.
It got new timing belt and a good tune after I bought it - just in case.
Fantastic reliability.
General comments?
She's a Japanese import - no 1.5's were sold anywhere else. She's only 108 Bhp, but she's a bit lighter than the 1.6/VTEC's.
I've never driven a car that handles as well as this one. It just sticks to the road. The design is a good compromise. I look at it as a two seater with a huge boot, and room for 2 more people in an emergency. You wouldn't want to spend more than a few miles sitting in the back.
She does about 30mpg which is reasonable.
Fairly quick in a straight line - but unbelievable around corners.
If I ever have to buy a family car, I hope I can keep my baby too!
