1992 Honda CRX x from UK and Ireland - Comments

"Style, speed and handling for those who can't afford a Porsche.."

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Small leaks - that's about it.

It got new timing belt and a good tune after I bought it - just in case.

Fantastic reliability.

General comments?

She's a Japanese import - no 1.5's were sold anywhere else. She's only 108 Bhp, but she's a bit lighter than the 1.6/VTEC's.

I've never driven a car that handles as well as this one. It just sticks to the road. The design is a good compromise. I look at it as a two seater with a huge boot, and room for 2 more people in an emergency. You wouldn't want to spend more than a few miles sitting in the back.

She does about 30mpg which is reasonable.

Fairly quick in a straight line - but unbelievable around corners.

If I ever have to buy a family car, I hope I can keep my baby too!

Does anyone happen to know of performance specs on the 1.5X Dual Carb CRX, particularly the 0-60 time?

From my own tests, I'd estimate it's in the low 9's, but I don't know for sure.

I've searched high and low, but can't seem to find this information. Can anyone help?

Your specs : 0 - 60 in 9,2 seconds

It's a great car - I own a crx 1.6 dohc fitted with a T3 turbo - an immense 195 horse power and she does from 0 - 60 in just 6,1

Love Honda and appreciate quality
