1993 Honda Integra Si VTEC review from Australia and New Zealand

After receiving the car in April of 2003, I haven't had a problem with it.

Performance wise, it does it's job, and excellent acceleration (for a sub 2l car), is only a downshift away.

It handles excellently, and has gotten me out of a sticky situation in more than one occassion, yet the aftermarket MOMO Corse steering wheel has made the car have much larger turning circle than my 1991 Honda Integra LS.

Build quality is Honda excellent, the VTEC engine sounds terrific and has a reputation for reliability.

It is one of the most modifiable cars on the market, not my thing, but it's nice to know it can be tuned for greater performance.

Seats are comfortable, the 2 cup-holders under the Tape deck/CD Player are generally useless for bigger cups/drinks.

Heating system seems to take 5-10 minutes to start giving me some decent hot air through the vents. Aircon is very efficient, taking much less time.

Passengers complain about the lack of room in the backseat, but I've sat in the rear of a C180 Kompressor, and it has just as much room as that. What do you expect from a subcompact coupe?

Disappointments? Australia doesn't have a speed limit I like to drive at in the inner city, and the car feels incredibly restrained and normal when not giving it a good rev.
