1987 Honda Integra SX16 review from Australia and New Zealand
"A classic Honda which still looks sharp today"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Constant problems keeping idle right. Idles from between 750rpm and 1500rpm.
Replaced water hoses, thermostat, thermostat housing and radiator rebuilt.
Alternator rebuilt at 250,000km.
Wheel bearing replaced at 238,000km.
General comments?
Great car in its time, but starting to show its age now.
The fact that idle is controlled by water really is not a great idea.
Good performance and fantastic gearbox.
Excellent handling although rides hard.
Nice seats and modern interior for a car of its age.
