1997 Honda Passport from North America

Generally a dependable car

All the electric windows have gone out, $200 each to fix.

Air conditioner.

Normal wear and tear fixes.

General Comments:

For the most part it has been good to me.

I have had few problems. I maintain it very well, IE... tune ups, oil changes, etc.etc.

1997 Honda Passport LX 3.2L V6 from North America

This vehicle requires more attention, but has never let me down

Windshield wiper motor replaced @ 39,000.

4 wheel drive blew @12,000, warranty.

Head gasket replaced at 65,000.

Replaced tires with Michelin ATX @

42,000, Michelin's still with 9/32 remaining.

Replaced windshield wiper plugs 3 times.

Replaced the battery 3 times.

Replaced the alternator @ 67,000.

Replaced power window controller @ 98,000.

Gas gauge failed to register @ 70,000.

Check engine light on since 65,000.

Dash board lights failed @ 95,000.

Replaced headlight bulbs at least twice.

Replaced all belts twice.

General Comments:

This vehicle burns oil and so I need to change more frequently.

This vehicle is a bit smokey during seasonal/temperature changes.

The vehicle is excellent in the snow.

Rust has presented itself on the rear door latches and some of the trim features.

I have driven cross country at least 4 times and the ride is actually decent for a SUV.

I do not like the fact that I cannot check my transmission fluid.
