2002 Iran Khodro Samand Elegance review from Iran
"A good old shoe that will last for years"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car had to have a new clutch just after I got it, but the mechanic said it was the original so that's OK. Apart from service items, this car has been very reliable.
General comments?
It's quite a good cruiser, but is slow in the city. It's based on a 405, and that's a good thing, they're solid cars. My uncle crashed one into the back of a bus at over 50 KPH and only had a cut on his head from the steering wheel, and a broken ankle from the footwell that shrank.
