2002 Iran Khodro Samand Elegance review from Iran
"A National Car, That lasts forever!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I purchased my Paykan, it did not have enough motor oil nor transmission fluid in it.
The factory tinted windows got me a ticket!
General comments?
This car will last you forever if you only change the oil, and do the basic maintenance.
Installing a Turbo on A 1.6 Liter motor was quite a challenge; but it can beat any stock Civic out there!
I have seen the same car last over 40 years (and is being driven as a taxi every day) with no problems.
Finally, by owning a Paykan you know that you are supporting your own country.
My Paykan also has 20 inch rims, leather seats, and a power moonroof, as well as 2 1000w 12-inch subwoofers.
