1999 Isuzu Amigo S 2.2L from North America

Summary:

Love it, next time will buy a used V6 with auto transmission

Faults:

Computer failed at 86k miles.

A/C compressor failed at 90k miles.

Gas tank fuel pump failed at 90k miles.

Pilot bearing failed at 139k miles.

Clutch slave cylinder replaced once about every 40k miles (4 total now)

General Comments:

As most of the failures were covered under an extended warranty, did not feel any out of pocket crunches.

Despite it, vehicle has never left me stranded.

Unique looks, people don't mistake it as a vanilla flavored shortened SUV.

The miles I've put on testify how much I love this car.

1999 Isuzu Amigo 3.2L V6 gas from North America

Summary:

Fun sporty and your friend

Faults:

Gas mileage is low.

Brakes needed to be changed and still are weak.

Someone broke a window and it costs over $400 to fix.

Ride is a bit rough.

The gas gauge does not work.

General Comments:

This car is very cute, but still sporty and big enough for a man to drive. The v6 has lots of power and is quick when you hit the gas. but the mpg is really low on mine. I am still trying to fix that.

I have the hard top version with the two sunroofs, so the cab feels light and roomy. the back seat is hard to get into, but is roomy when your in. The cab is also sort of quiet even when the two sun roofs are pop-ed up. A bit louder then others, but still not bad.
