I love my Cherokee, it's a 93 and I bought it for 2000 and put $1500 into the truck, and a lot of that was the mandatory brakes, rotors, services etc. The rest was starter, water pump, and some new shocks, and now it runs amazingly and it's not bad on fuel. I can rely on it no matter what, and I have put 13,000 km on it since I bought it, and I bet I will put another 30,000km or more before I put her into retirement. If you love your vehicle it will love you!!!

My grandpa bought a 93 brand new and gave it to me in 2006 with 33,000 miles on it. I now have over 90k on it, and the only thing I have had to do it is change out the water pump. It has been a great car for me, and I plan on driving it for a long time.

I love my 93 Limited. I've owned it for over 10 years, and it has been an excellent vehicle. The only thing I've had to replace is the water pump and the computer. I'd say that's pretty good for a car that's almost 20 years old! The only things I really wish it had are a part time transfer case and disk brakes in the rear (94s have disks in the rear).

I have a 93, and have had no major problems with it as of yet; it runs great.

Jeeps are a special type of truck, and they require their owners to treat them with respect, but you have to give them the off road they want.

With my Jeep, I tow a 20 foot car trailer; my 17 foot bay liner boat.

I have put on shocks, a brake light sensor, and done basic oil changes, and I have 213000 miles on it with the 4.0 I6 under the hood.

I just bought mine yesterday for 900 bucks, and it runs beautiful. The only thing I noticed was paint coming off the roof. The lights on the display show a bad rear light, and the 2 red lights light up, yet they are working. I notice the license plate lights are not, so I will replace them today, and hope that is the problem, or it will bug me.

Rides great!!! And I hope that it stays that way.

The rear light problem is solved by changing the bulbs on the top of the back window. Get the right ones and your good. It bugged me forever!

I have a 1993 JGCL, and has been really good. Just needed regular maintenance. I changed the water pump, belt tensioner and serpentine belt. Rest was regular maintenance; spark plugs, fluid changes, brakes and tires.

If you take good care of it, it will last you forever; the 5.2L engine is very strong!
