1983 Jeep Wagoneer Limited 360 V8 from North America

Summary:

The greatest SUV ever built (and the first)

Faults:

Car needed new alternator at 136,500 miles.

Leather seats are worn.

Very minor rust behind rear wheels.

General Comments:

This car is unstoppable. It is very well built, rides great, very easy to see out of, 0 blind spots.

Sure the gas mileage isn't great but we average about 15 miles per gallon on the highway which isn't bad for a 25 year old car compared to the new ones of similar size. My wife and I love our Jeep and won't ever sell it.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

15 mpg is something to brag about when you look at the Ford 460 motor that gets 8 miles to the gallon, and I am talking about a 1997 which is much newer than a 1980 Wagoneer. When you look at the Explorer, it only gets around 18mpg on the highway!
