1991 Jeep Wagoneer 360 from North America

Summary:

I searched for over 10 years for the car, and will never sell the car!

Faults:

Radiator - time of purchase.

Head gasket bolts - time of purchase.

Water pump - 2007.

Rear window motor - 2007.

Running lights - replaced (including harness) - 2007.

Headliner - replaced 2009.

Major tune-up - 2009.

Trans pan gasket - 2009.

Head gaskets/fuel pump gasket - 2009.

General Comments:

The car is ultimately reliable - I drive 100+ miles to go flyfishing 10+ times/year.

Poor gas mileage - 13+/gal.

The cars seats and interior are "classic" and are still in excellent condition - my oldest daughter's friends love the car.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Absolutely wonderful cars. My family drove these in the seventies through the middle 90s, but alas since then we've given up on finding them, as they're getting so rare. Fun to drive, unstoppable in snow or mud, and as you said, so very old school. A blast from better days.

There are still several low mileage ones for sale online. They are a little pricey, but think what you would pay for a brand new comparable SUV.
