2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4WD 2 door 3.6 V6 petrol from Togo

Summary:

Awesome off-road

Faults:

Generally, it's a sturdy and reliable car.

However, it did have some flaws. After the first five years, the electrical system began to fail, especially the start-stop system (easily repaired anyway). The biggest problem was with the alternator, which I had to replace shortly after 90,000 km. The car's original battery wasn't very good, and I had to replace it sooner than recommended.

General Comments:

I've had the car for 10 years now, and the truth is, driving it doesn't feel like an all-rounder vehicle. Compared to the Landcruiser I had before, I find it even more comfortable and easier to drive. The engine has the necessary power (quite fast for an off-road) and is relatively economical for a 3.6-liter gasoline engine.

Aside from minor flaws, the car handles quite well and is usable on all types of roads. It's not easy for a car to withstand the climate and locations here, but with the Jeep, you can travel wherever you want.

The car's construction is solid, the sheet metal is very good, and it has no problems with rust or rot. The air conditioning, which I use regularly, hasn't given me a single problem. The interior and seats are of very good quality and, with proper care, remain as good as new.

Over the years, I've used it both for adventures and as a normal everyday vehicle; it adapts to everything. Despite being a small version, it's quite spacious and comfortable; 4 people can travel comfortably.

2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 3.6 VVT from North America

Summary:

It's a keeper

Faults:

Not a thing. I purchased this vehicle to replace a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that had constant engine problems. I have had it since new and it has never let me down in any way.

As far as driving, I think it drives great for a Jeep. It's a "Cadillac" compared to the older "CJ" models. It's a ragtop so yes it's noisy at highway speeds, it hates high winds and high cross winds can be a challenge. I average around 21 mpg which is great for a vehicle that can and does go everywhere.

I perform routine maintenance on it myself and other than regular maintenance items (and accessories) it has never cost me a dime.

I am so impressed with this Jeep that two weeks ago I purchased a new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon with the 3.6 VVT. I still kept my old Jeep (after 9 years it's a part of the family).

If anything does happen in the future I will update this review.

General Comments:

If you want a vehicle that can go anywhere I would suggest a Rubicon. Pay the extra money, it will be well worth it in the long term. This has truly been a quality vehicle, well built and so much fun that I'm surprised the powers to be haven't tried to make it illegal. I am 64 years old and as long as I can keep getting in and out of it I will keep it. (Love this Jeep!)

Noisy? Yes

Leaks? No

Fuel mileage? Acceptable

Go anywhere? Absolutely

Fun? I cannot express with words how much fun it's been, and keeping me feeling young is a plus.

I purchased my first new Jeep in 1983 (CJ-7) and over the years I've had several. This has been my favorite. I'm hoping my new Gladiator Rubicon is just as reliable as my 2015 Rubicon (2-dr); it has truly been the best vehicle purchase I've ever made.
