Totally agree with the no power on the highway, but great get up and go around town. Cold air intake helped a bit. With a hard top in the winter it gets too hot!!! I love mine, but not worth the price they want for them.

I've got a 1994 soft top and I haven't had any major problems with it till recently.

The oil pressure now rises and falls at will, and the engine seems to be miss firing.

I constantly take it to an authorized and the only dealer were I live, but it costs a bomb every time, and they still can't seem to fix what is wrong with it.

Off road I have never had any problems, except for once getting stuck in some soft sand due to me forgetting to put the car into 4 wheel drive before trying to cross the sand.

It accelerates faster than most cars I've seen, and I'm glad for that, but it only reaches a max of 150k, which is a shame, but I prefer the power it gives out rather than the speed.

I'd be in an accident in that car any day, cos I know it will always come out on top.

After I looked at the new 2007 model, I was shocked to see what the Wrangler has become. Wranglers were made to be rough off roaders, they're not meant for racing or lookin pretty, and I just feel the new models are taking away the tradition of Wranglers being rugged and powerful cars, and making them more into speedy little too fast too furious cars. I'm just sad to see a real legend go soft.

I have a 1994 with a 4 and auto.. air also.. This set up is really on the slow side. I bought it used - the body and underneath look great so was a good investment.. Top is in great condition and the car is a pleasure to drive..

Other than NO power at all, my only complaint - I don't mind the rough ride..it's actually not that bad, nor do I mind the noise..it's a jeep and to be expected..

If you understand what a jeep is about I don't see how anyone can complain about it. Does everything I need it to do.. great in th snow, off road and fun in the summer..it's late Sept and I still don't want to put the top up.. just wear a sweat shirt and turn the heater on..

My next one will be a 6 and manual for sure.
