General Comments:

I love this car. Lots of power and room. I did some reviews on the car and found out it just beat the Toyota Camry out in safety. The car is awesome, with the manual/automatic trans, it makes the car fun to drive. Plenty of room, and many features to chose from I almost went with the EX appear package, but I'm not a big fan of the sunroof or leather. I added 18' chrome wheels to it and it really stands out. I love to take my friends out in my car they freak out. You still hear about KIA (Killed In Action), but the performace on the car in unbeatable. My friends have Camry's and Accords, but even the Camry doesn't come with the standard features that the Optima has. The old Killed In Action KIA is long gone. Before you say Killed in Action go drive one and I promise that you will be surprised.

I bought one, too. Yes, Camry and Accord owners do stare. The Optima looks good, drives good, parks easy, and rides smooth. Besides, it's more car for the money than any other mid-sized sedan out there. It's superior to the model it replaces. This ain't the same old South Korean car company.

2006 Kia Optima LX V6 from North America

Summary:

My car is a lemon

Faults:

Gwinnett Place Kia Duluth, GA.

My rear defrost disconnected the FM radio.

There was a scratch on the front bumper.

The steering wheel vibrates very bad and pulls to the right.

General Comments:

The car has been in Gwinnett Place Kia Service Dept. 10 out of the 19 days. Purchased on 8/26/06.

The car drives very badly while you cannot take your hand off of the the steering wheel.

The front end aligment is off.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

HOW DO YOU LIKE THE CAR? I mean, I understand that do hate the dealership, but what about the car. This is carsurvey.org, not a dealership review site. Sounds like the dealership has done something with the car. On my KIA they gave me a year for any adjustments on the car, and the rear defrost should be fixed, all under warranty. The paint and everything should be fixed by the dealership. So let's get this right, you hate the dealership, but what about the car?
