1999 Kia Pride SX review from UK and Ireland
"Was OK when running well... wouldn't have another!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Passenger door leaked water in... really bizarre... came in under the bottom door seal and settled in a pool in the footwell.
Petrol locking cap didn't lock, kept popping open all the time!
Engine starting behaving badly... juddering, jumping, kangarooing... drinking petrol like it was going out of fashion!!!
Spent 2 weeks in the Kia garage, and they couldn't find out what was wrong with it!!
New this, new that, new the other... still no improvement!!!
General comments?
Was a nice tidy motor which ran well... until it went wrong, then it was a devil of a job to find out what was wrong with it... it deteriorated so quickly!!!
A little too light and flimsy for me... buffeted around a bit too much in strong (ish) winds... not great on slippery roads.
Very basic inside, but roomy and comfortable enough... although a little flimsy.
