1995 Kia Sportage EX review from North America
"Priceless"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced starter twice.
Repaired Spare Tire Rack Release Cable.
Radiator replaced after 180,000 miles.
A/C developed leak after 200,000 miles.
Heater coil developed leak after 200,000 miles.
General comments?
You will never see a vehicle like this again in the US. Rugged reliable four wheel drive with manual transfer case and minimal electronic dependence.
My truck has been in incredibly difficult terrain and conditions, commuted to school and work, and now 11 years on and 258,000 miles later, starts up everyday and gets me where I need to go.
I have put less than $700 in repair parts and have done all the labor myself. General maintenance has also been inexpensive.
I will never part with my Sportage. The best money I ever spent.
