2013 Lancia Flavia Convertible 2.4 petrol from Netherlands
Summary:
Sporty, great design, hard to find one today
Faults:
Difficulty starting in very low temperatures, occasional jerking while driving, and higher than usual oil consumption.
Minor issues like the check engine light coming on (it comes on even when the engine is running fine), and I had to check the air conditioning because it wasn't cooling enough.
General Comments:
It's a sports car, very well designed in my opinion, with a beautiful interior and very comfortable and relaxing to drive. High-quality accessory details make them durable over time.
It's not a car that has sold too much, so its resale value is relatively low (I got it for less than €8,000 three years ago). The model comes with a single engine option, the 2.4-liter Chrysler engine made for the European market (a product of the Chrysler-Fiat merger). This engine produced 170 horsepower and was paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
In my opinion, given the type of car it is, I think it lacks some power. Beyond driving well, it feels too heavy and slow in the city, but it's much more comfortable on the highway. Fuel consumption is quite positive for a large gasoline engine, at just 9.4 liters per 100 km (urban fuel consumption is higher).
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
