2015 Lexus IS 350 3.5L V6 from North America

Summary:

Absolutely fantastic! Would buy again!

Faults:

Nothing so far. Everything has been flawless.

General Comments:

Performance: While the IS350 has less straight-line grunt than some of its competitors, it makes up for it greatly in the chassis. The steering and chassis is absolutely great in this car. It's very confidence-inspiring. The transmission is also very good and is programmed well. Even in auto mode, it knows what gear I want to be in 95% of the time.

Ride: For a car with low profile tires, the suspension does a great job of absorbing bumps. When in Sport+ mode, the suspension tightens, which gives you a more sporty ride and suspension setting.

Interior: The interior quality is great. It's very well laid out and covered with nice materials.

Value: Excellent! This car outperforms other cars in its price range. I really can't say much about this car. The only downside is that straight-line performance isn't as good as it could be, but I guess that's the trade off you make for reliability. If Lexus ever came out with a higher powered IS, I would trade mine in for it.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

It's sad to say that Lexus decided not to bring back the Lexus IS-F model in 2015 which had that beautiful 5.0 V-8 engine in it. 0-60 times were about 4.3 seconds and it had a top speed of 170mph. I have the 4.3 V-8 in my GS430 and it's a nice smooth engine. But it can't hold a candle to that 5.0 V-8 that the IS-F had in it.
