2009 Lexus IS250 ISE review from UK and Ireland
"Disappointing"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
None.
General comments?
High expectations from Lexus not matched by my experience to date.
The vehicle is no more than satisfactory. It lacks the ride refinement of my previous car, a Mercedes C Class or the more involved driver feel of our BMW 3 Series. Petrol consumption is below the manufacturers quoted figures.
Interior space for driver & passenger are encroached upon by the grab handles which project out into the front compartment. Head room is good though.
We've never before talked about our next car within weeks of taking delivery of a brand new vehicle. When I hear the dealership talk about the good service they offer, it makes me wonder why in our case they failed to deliver.
