To clarify the last comment:

C Class Mercedes was built in many places, all with the Mercedes quality, some where made in Germany, others in South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, in fact, the ones made in Mexico (C-220 and C-280, also the E-420 was made in Mexico) were known by being the ones with lowest problems all together, and this was already low for any of these cars. The same happened with the A-Class made in Brazil, which didn't have the recalls of the German model... But both of them where also extremely durable cars.
