1984 Mercury Capri RS Turbo review from North America
"An odd ball with balls"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I purchased the car in need of an engine. I was able to find one in no time and installation was easy.
The motor mounts are a constant hassle, but ingenuity will prevail over poor design.
Replaced turbocharger and clutch cable.
I had it painted before I started driving it.
General comments?
At 14 PSI ".96 Bar" it pulls hard through the first four gears.
The car performs well, and exhibits good handling and stiffness.
The addition of a front mounted inter-cooler helped in the addition of extra horse power.
The interior is nice, but lacks good lighting and has no stock boost gauge.
