I have a 82 Capri I got it about two years ago. I love it. It is white with red interior. I got it for a steal under a thousand. All it needed was some smog equipment and exhaust from the headers back, and it had a new engine. It has a sun roof that leaks, and created some rust on the roof.

I plan on fix up the whole car. All I have done so far is put an air gap intake, four barrel, mild cam, dual exhaust no cats, dual roller timing chain, dual 4in cold air intakes, t5 tranny, 8.8 rear end, all polygraphite bushings on undercarriage and after market ball joints and tie rods. I have all the stock parts still.

I love this car. I'll probably never sell it. I think the 5.0 Capri will be a collectible car in the future.

I had a 1982 5.0 Capri black magic with Recaro seats. That is the black and white racing seats. I wish I would have never sold it, and one day I hope to find one. I saw it on the show room floor when I brought my mom's car in to be fixed, and I bought it. I was 18 at the time.

I will give you $7,000 for it cold cash.

I had a 82 Capri RS 5.0 black on gold back in 87 when I was stationed at Schofield Barracks Hawaii. It was who I was at that time, and I loved that car more than anything. Met my now ex wife and was stupid enough to trade it in on a new car. It has haunted me for almost 30 years. Was looking on the Internet a few weeks ago and found a 82 that is 95% restored and purchased it out of New Jersey a week ago. Can't wait for the snow to go away so I can drive it back to Pennsylvania. Life is great!!!

Would be more valuable in the long run had you left it original. "Survivor cars" are more desirable than modded ones in most instances. Especially an oddball like the Capri...
