1995 Mercury Tracer LS from North America

Summary:

Unreliable cooling system brings this economy car down

Faults:

Needed a complete new radiator at 30,000 miles.

Has had 3 thermostats and 2 relays and is running hot yet again.

Air Conditioner failed at app 50,000 miles.

I can't depend on this vehicle to go on a trip of any length due to its persistent tendency to run hot.

General Comments:

This vehicle is good on gas and will get you from Point A to Point B as long as they aren't too far apart and it doesn't have to idle too long.

1995 Mercury Tracer 1.9 L from North America

Summary:

A perfect first car

Faults:

I had to get the transmission replaced about two months ago, but I found out that was the first time that the transmission had even been serviced since the car was built.

Other than that, the car has run beautifully. For two years, I worked as a pizza delivery driver and had virtually no trouble with this car.

The air conditioner was also not working when I bought the car, but I have since had that fixed as well.

General Comments:

This is a great car overall. It has a little trouble picking up speed, but it runs like a dream once you get it up to a good cruising speed.

1995 Mercury Tracer LTS from North America

Summary:

I love my Mercury Tracer LTS, it rocks

Faults:

Not much, just standard upkeep.

General Comments:

I love my car. It's bright purple and it has a hole in the bumper from an incident with another car, but I still love it. It gets great gas mileage, it's comfortable, it drives great and it is so much fun to drive.
