1961 Meyers Manx Beach Buggy 1.6L from North America

Summary:

A fun ride at a great price, and easy to maintain

Faults:

Blown left front wheel cylinder.

Noisy speedometer.

No idiot lights.

Stop/tail lights wired wrong.

Replaced brake light switch.

General Comments:

This is one seriously fun little car!

Light and nimble, the Manx handles like a dream come true on the road and can go places off road that would simply amaze you.

The car also gets tons of attention from little kids, to the most stuffy senior citizens. You will get miles of smiles when you take this funny little car out for a cruise!

1999 Meyers Manx Beach Buggy 1.6L Subaru from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

Fun, great looker and something to get buried in when I die!!!

Faults:

Everything, I built it! It took me a while to iron out the bugs, but now it is great, fun, and cool.

General Comments:

I took me 9 months to build; I lengthened the fibreglass shell so that the VW floorpan would be standard. I then added a 1.6L Subaru engine. It looks great and is great to drive.

If anyone is looking for a fun car to build and drive, the Manx is the one. I am no mechanic, just enough to be dangerous!!!!!
