1978 Mitsubishi Lancer 1600 GSR 4G32, 1.6 twin carb, gasoline from Guatemala

Summary:

A vintage cup, 33 year old winner

Faults:

Camshaft with a scratched lobe.

General Comments:

This is a great performance car. 3 times 1st place in the vintage cup here in Guatemala, with circuit times similar to Porsche 911s of the same year.

OEM 2 carb setup, definitely it's not a gas saver, makes 20 miles per gallon, but really that 20 miles are very fun.

Springs in the front and leaf springs in the back, makes it very tough, even on bad roads.

General specifications of the engine are 105hp / 107 lb. ft torque.

The body has thick metal panels, and a noisy but sporty engine. This is a very good car.

1978 Mitsubishi Lancer GL 1.2 SOHC from Greece

Summary:

Amazing, it's my passion

Faults:

Nothing at all.

General Comments:

This car runs smoothly if you just respect it, and of course the years that it carries on its back. It's a wonderful car, maybe one of the best cars ever made. If someone sells an A75 Lancer in a good condition, I buy it right now. Strong, powerful, tough.
