Original 1400 motor replaced at about 100,000 km - clutch replaced at same time and 5 speed gearbox added along with full GSR running gear.
This car is seriously quick and handles like it's on rails.

Thanx.

The Lancer is a brilliant car if you can find one with the engine 4g32 1400/1600. It's a good motor that doesn't miss a beat.
If you've got a Lancer, look after it.
Hi there, I have a 1977 Lancer hatch, which I have had since new.. I brought it in Brisbane. It now has done over 540,000 ks.
I put a 5 speed box in, which made it more economical to run. Been to Perth and back, to Cairns and is still my daily drive to work..
I am chasing the rubbers for the front door windows. If anybody can help with bits, I would love to hear from you, Thanks Phill.
