I have a 2000 Montero Sport. I bought a used car because in my country Costa Rica, cars are very expensive. I loved my car, but it consumes a lot of gasoline.

We have bought the car and it is very good... a little fuel thirsty, but it's a fantastic car... I love it.

I'm from Kuwait and I'm planning to buy this Nativa model, cause there is a promo of 5000kd for the vehicle. Now all I need after reading all the comments from here is somebody from you to push me, to withdraw or to go on thanks.

Hi I am from RAK, UAE. I am planning to buy a Nativa. The comments vary from one end to the other. Can someone who still thinks the 2006 model is not worth buying please help by posting a comment now, as I am planning to buy this car in a couple of days. Nag/RAK/UAE.

Hi, I am planning to buy Mitsubishi Nativa 2007 model. Anything I must look into it before I buy it? Is it reliable?

29th Dec 2006, 01:51

Do NOT buy a NATIVA!! It's a really bad choice! For the price of a nativa you can really get better cars! Nativa's interior is very plain and bad. The dashboard is really cheap with a cheap CD player and horrible AC controls, its not that smooth and the exterior is nothing special. Here is my adive to you all - DO NOT BUY A NATIVA.

29th Dec 2006, 14:58

Nativa is a really bad, cheap car, don't buy it-trust me. reasons stated in above post.

The Kia Sorento is not even in the same class! My Nativa has been one of the best cars I've ever had a chance to own. Worth every penny, the mix of value in performance, appearance and pleasure of driving makes it one of my best investments. Don't listen to these nay-sayers, decide for yourself.

Okay guys, it's a 50:50 situation..

I'm getting a 2007 model. dark blue grey metallic colour full options with sunroof, leather interior, n stuff for 76k (brand new from showroom).

No other 4x4 has this rate for their full option range.

Not even the Korean cars.

Somebody got a better reason for not buying the car?

10th Feb 2007, 11:52

OK, I was planning very much for 2007 NATIVA, but shocked to see all these comments, I guess it depends on person to person.

Kindly advise by considering my requirements.

1. I want a SUV / Jeep type ride with 4x4 and big look n feel.

2. I am not a slow driver, I like the car to respond immediately when I push the accelerator.

3. I want less hassles with maintenance and spare parts availability.

4. I want good after sales services from company.

5. I want affordable price, its around (83K Qatar Riyal here in Qatar).

6. The car should not have a big price drop in one year time.

Now suggest that shall person with these requirement shall go for NATIVA.

Besides that tell me more about, mileage, AC performance, suspensions and balance of the car, hows it in deserts and sand dunes.

The Mitsubishi Nativa GLS 4X4 is a fantastic car! just drive around Qatar to see how many are on the road. It has comfort, safety, power, space, etc. So who cares it is a bit thirsty in teh Middle East? It performs well both on the road and off. After comparing it to the Kia Sorento there is NO comparison. Kia only has 1 airbag and is Korean. Buy Japanese and by quality. In the Middle east the order of purchasing is Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, any other Japanese make, Chevrolet, anything else!!

I love my Nativa.

I wish to buy a new Nativa from Sharjah, UAE. Of course the price and features are distinct plus in it's category. Now the current price for the mid range one is AED.69500/-

15th Apr 2007, 14:18

I'd say go ahead and buy the Nativa, it is proven itself here in Kuwait and is extremely reliable. Yes! it does drink a little to much gas.

Regarding that Kia Sorento, that's nice too - but then why are there so few on the road? I wonder why.

Meanwhile coudl any Nativa owners in Dubai/Doha/Muscat advise how many accessories are available for the Nativa in your local market & what they are?

Thanks

Nativa in Q8.

Hi everyone!

My wife and I went to one of the Mitsubishi showrooms here in Dubai and she kind a like the Mitsubishi Nativa. Well, I would say that the price is a bit affordable, but because of the positive and negative (majority) comments I have read, now I am really very confused.

The truth of the matter is, we were planning for Dodge Caliber, but the waiting time is extremely disappointing. We've been waiting for almost two months now and we haven't received any update on when exactly are we going to get the car, so I had to cancel my booking.

But, could possibly someone assist us (wife and I) in providing exact reasons why Nativa is not the car on the road?! Brake system?Fuel Consumption?

Help! nativa or grand vitara.

15th Jul 2007, 19:14

I just bought a Nativa 2.8 turbo diesel and I'm very very satisfied so far. it has its pros and cons like every vehicle, but is not as bad as everyone picture it here.

28th Jul 2007, 02:09

I just bought a nativa 2004 and I feel the fuel consumption is very high like aed 30 is good only for 140km.and I don't feel any power at all. is all nativa like that?design-wise I can say its nice exterior. and its comfortable to ride compared to other cars. the only thing I don't like is the power.. its less...

3rd Aug 2007, 15:54

Well I have a Nativa and had a Montero Sport, both cars consume too much fuel (compared to Toyota's suvs), they both aren't fast cars, but the are very comfortable cars nice to drive and a very gentle steering wheel, these are mainly transportation meant cars. Really nice driving experience!

9th Aug 2007, 04:21

Hey there...I'm still confused and not yet fully decided... Nativa or Outlander?

3rd Nov 2007, 04:15

I have shifted from Kuwait to Dubai along with my NATIVA 2006 model. Could any let me know what is the fuel consumption of their NATIVA on Dubai Road conditions (Traffic) with Octan 98.

Regards.

I plan to buy a Nativa.

I want to know the current price of the 2007 in UAE, and the best dealership regarding the post buy customer service.

2007 Nativa Owner only reply with recommendations.

Just Today I bought a 2008 NATIVA, I did not recieve it yet, but I like what I saw, it is from just looking at it is very nice looking and it has very good Departure (27), Approch (32) and Break Over Angles (30) and the ground clearance is (215mm). Also the (500mm) Wading Depth is remarkable, in short that is a very impressive Off-Road Parformance. In addition it has a shift on the fly from 2H to 4H up to 100km per hour of speed.

Lots of storage room and some of them are hidden in the floor.

Go ahead and buy one, I was impressed with all the features the NATIVA has compared with the low price.

For the price this is really great. The color I chose is the Dark Bluish Gray Mica.
