1992 Mitsubishi Precis Base review from North America
"I bought the thing for $1,300 and it's more than paid for itself"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Mostly basic things, I've replaced the fuel pump/filter and water pump.
General comments?
It's a quick little car and I've been everywhere with it. Essentially it's been from coast to coast without encountering any major problems. On my way from Indiana to Mexico last year for spring break my water pump went out. I got it fixed for $60.00 including labor and parts. Not bad! After that the little thing purred like a kitten and I've had no problems since then, save a fuel pump at 110,000 miles. Since I purchased this vehicle I've put on 39,000 miles. I'd say that's rather impressive for a little 1.5 liter. It's a good car and has one of the roomiest back seats o any car in it's class.
