1989 Mitsubishi Precis SR review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Oil leaks; windshield wiper motor; distributor cap/rotor.
Knocking sound uphill can be fixed by retarding the ignition with a screw.
General comments?
Being a Hyundai Excel essentially, the car needs a lot of attention.
I bought it with 124K on it and have driven it for another 15K.
If you know what to expect from it and you take good care of the Precis, it serves you well. It has never broken down under me.
