2002 Mitsubishi Verada 3.6 from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

My wife and I love it

Faults:

Nil.

General Comments:

Absolutely the most economical and reliable car we have ever owned. Only ever had to replace a battery and tyres.

No mechanical problems to date - but we do service it regularly.

This car is great over long distances, and hugs the road like a glove.

2002 Mitsubishi Verada Ei 3.5 Litre 24v V6 from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

A very under-rated family mover, that's fun to drive

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong with the car as of yet.

General Comments:

A very under-rated family vehicle. The build quality is exceptional. I went out to buy a BA Fairmont at the time and came home with this.

The 156kw motor has more than ample power, and is extremely responsive and quick off the mark. Fuel consumption is excellent in town and on the open road. Over a 700km trip we averaged 6.7L/100km.

The Sports mode auto was one of the best things Mitsubishi had introduced into their range of Magna's and Verada's, which shifts smoothly in all gears and is very responsive in sports mode.

It's very quiet and smooth inside, although the tyres that were on it when I bought the car were a bit noisy, but tolerable.

Standard 8 speaker stereo system sounds magnificent, especially in the front with the splits in the front doors as standard.

I would recommend this vehicle to anyone that's looking for something luxurious, fun to drive and still fit the family in.

I have just purchased a 2002 Verada Xi a few days ago and can't rate it high enough. I have been driving cars for 31 years and have had every make in Australia. This car for 9000 dollars is as good as the Falcon/Holden worth 30000 dollars. It's smooth, quiet and very comfortable. Love it, Many years of good motoring to be had.

2002 Mitsubishi Verada GTV Ei 3.5L 6G74 SOHC V6 from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

Excellent

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

I got this car for a steal because of the terrible resale values of the Magna/Verada. It's got everything you could want: leather interior, satnav, climate control, wood-grain interior, CD stacker, you name it. It's also very quick off the line. Seats are ultra comfy and it looks great on 17" mags. Awesome car!

Highly underrated.

I have a 2002 Verada 11 GTV. Purchased 2007.

100,00km. Now 168,000km.

It has no problems. Performs, handles and rides well.

I would like to form a club Veradas. Anyone interested contact colin1@australiamail.com with ideas.
