2021 Nissan Micra IG-T Acenta 1.0 from Cyprus

Summary:

Practical and cheap

Faults:

The brake pads wore out quite quickly.

Premature corrosion in the exhaust system, especially if it is used a lot in the city.

The clutch sometimes tends to get quite stiff; while it's not a problem, it is still annoying when making gear changes.

The engine soundproofing is a weak point; it's not a noisy car, but it's not quiet either, given that it's quite new.

The interior quality isn't good. While everything is in like-new condition, the plastics are quite poor.

General Comments:

It's a car that needs to be analyzed for what it is: a small car designed for urban use.

If you're looking for an economical car with a reliable engine that doesn't have serious problems, the Micra fits the bill.

We shouldn't expect too many features, but the car is still well-rounded. It has ABS, power windows, air conditioning, and steering that makes it very easy to drive.

It also stands out for its dynamic handling and stability on the road. The steering is direct, although I would prefer more feedback, especially when tackling winding roads. The suspension offers a balance between comfort and control, absorbing road imperfections well. However, as already mentioned, the engine soundproofing could be improved to reduce noise inside the car.

At highway speeds, the Nissan Micra conveys a sense of stability typical of larger vehicles, thanks to good insulation and a solid structure. It's quiet and stable at high speeds. In terms of reliability, I haven't had any serious problems so far, beyond the details I mentioned, such as the engine noise insulation and the room for improvement in the quality of the interior materials.

If I had to give an assessment after almost five years of owning the car, based on how I use it, it would be positive. It's reliable, economical, and has the right comfort and safety features for a small car.
