1990 Nissan Patrol ST TB42 petrol from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

Great vehicle, and I don't think I would sell it for any other vehicle

Faults:

Overall this Nissan Patrol has been the best vehicle I have owned as far as reliability is concerned, I don't think the previous owner was keen on the idea of preventive servicing due to the brakes being metal to metal, ball joints / slip joints not being lubricated, and just general service items not being looked at for some time, but after going over these general items and repairing what has been let go, the Patrol has been great.

General Comments:

Great off road, even in standard form.

Great tow vehicle.

Little to go wrong (no EFI) electric windows etc.

Great family vehicle (7 seater).

Excellent value for money.

If you want a top of the range vehicle eg electrics, maybe the TI model is for you.

Could be better on fuel, has used up to 20 litres per 100 km, but most of the time around 15 litres per 100 kms if drive it with care.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
