2007 Nissan Sentra 2.0 2 liter from North America

Summary:

Best small car for the price

Faults:

Nothing Wrong.

General Comments:

I have the New Sentra 2.0 base model. For the price it's the best small car around. I tested the Honda Civic, Mazda 3, and the Toyota Corolla. Only the Honda was a little more refined, but not worth the $2000 up charge. It gets excellent gas mileage, has a cool look to it, and is quiet in the cabin.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Looks are subjective. I think the Sentra looks fine. However, Road and Track says it has "Dork - Fest," looks.

It's funny -- when this Sentra first debuted, I hated the styling. Recently though, I've really started to like it (especially the pre-facelift versions). So I'm there with you on looks. But I also find it curious that you preferred its driving dynamics to most everything else you tried. I shopped this segment of cars a few years ago, and found the Sentra to be tied with the Corolla to be the worst in terms of athleticism and refinement. To each his own, though -- it is a great value, and has a ton of passenger space! Just be careful to budget money if yours has the CVT; they are known to have a short life expectancy.
