1994 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-T 2.5L turbo from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

A good all rounder, but amazing when modified!

Faults:

Nothing really wrong. I kept it in stock spec form.

General Comments:

Compared to my previous car (Nissan 200SX Australian Spec), this car is a much heavier one. Still had a lot of grunt and torque, but at the end of the day, it wasn't able to accelerate as quickly as the 200SX.

Good thing is, it feels more solid, especially in the wet. The engine had so much potential for modification, but I left it in stock form.

Bad thing is, there are so many out there on the road! Just proves to you how good of a car it is if so many others are driving it around. It's reliable, fast (esp when modified), solid and looks good.

200SX accelerate faster than a SKYLINE GTST? Well my friend, you got a dud! Turbo must be blown or something.

Mine is modified and I blew away a Ferrari 308 GT the other day. This car is no joke! Get your 200SX back because you are not ready for a SKYLINE my friend.

1994 Nissan Skyline GTS 25t 2.5 turbo from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Wonderful budget supercar

Faults:

Nothing...its wonderful!

General Comments:

Beautiful best handling car I have ever driven!

Slightly sluggish off the mark being an auto, but very quick once your rolling.

Totally outstanding handling.

Supremely comfortable.

Incredibly well designed for easy maintenance and very easy to work on.

Nissan 200 SX parts fit most normal components eg filters and brake pads.

1994 Nissan Skyline R33 GTS-25T 2.5 DOHC Turbocharged Intercooled from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

High performance weapon for under $20k (aud)

Faults:

Nothing, I did not have it long enough for any problem to develop. I slammed it, head on, into a tree 2 weeks after I bought it. It was a total write off.

General Comments:

This was the quickest car I ever owned, and I wish I still had it. If anybody ever gets the chance to buy one, then buy it. You won't regret it one bit. Just go easy in it and treat it with the respect it deserves, otherwise it can become a quite untamed beast. Great car.

1994 Nissan Skyline GTS 2.0 six cylinder petrol from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

Aweome car shame about the motor.

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong yet. However strange harmonic noise can be heard at 2500 to 3000 rpm coming from the gearbox.

Some fuel injectors very noisy.

General Comments:

Watch out for the R33 GTS models with a single overhead cam like my one. They have very slow acceleration in comparison with other 2 litre skylines.

But apart from a lack of performance this car has awesome handling, very hard suspension and a never-ending top speed... (just remember the 180km/h limiter -- and the speed limit)

My next car will be an R32 GTS4 coupe, performance, traction and style. Can't wait!
