1956 Oldsmobile Holiday review from North America
"Daily driver for a 1956 Holiday"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Did not start.
Did not stop.
Barn kept.
One wire broke.
Leaks oil.
Rusty.
General comments?
Picked up car from barn.
Drained all fluid, changed plugs, and called the old neighbors mechanic to tell me why the car would not start. One wire had been reversed. $300. Three week shot.
All brake lines replaced. $200.
Cleaned up. Then drove it. No cost.
Car stopped at Piggly Wiggly, would not start. Fixed a loose wire.
Oil leak is a PAIN. Next project is a rear main seal. The car is old.
Will need to fix the body some day.
