You are mistaken about the 99 intrigue only haveing the 3.5 liter engine, I just purchased a 99 Intrigue today with the 3800 series motor that's a 3.8 liter.

I hope we have good luck with this car, it was bought for my son, his first car, car is a GL, after market wheels, leather interior, tinted windows,130,000 miles, all the options except a bose sound system, but the factory Fm/Cd sounds good.

I purchased my '98 Intrigue new. It now has 160,000 miles and is still going strong. I'm very hopeful and optimistic that I'll double this mileage.

I've been extremely pleased with this car from the day that they drove it off of the showroom floor for me, but I have had a few minor problems along the way. Like many other owners, I've replaced six (6) window regulators. All, but one was on the rear. As a result, I seldom will lower the rear windows at all any more. I've also replaced two alternators and two idler pulleys.

The leather interior, carpet, and dash instruments are all still in great shape. Overall, I love the way the car drives, handles, and looks. I consider this one of the better vehicles that I've purchased.

I too own a 1999 Oldsmobile intrigue, I too have the window problem and every year and a half a window goes out on us, like today our rear passenger went when I went to close the door. It's a Bummer I know. I also had the front drivers and rear drivers go on me, We bought this car brand new, and when the manufacturer warranty ended we found out that it had just started burning oil, we still have not fixed that yet, also the headlights will flicker, stop working, or you will go through several marker lights, light bulbs a year. I am very saddened to see this happen to just me, this is a very nice car sporty, classy, fast, and fun to have and own, these parts for this make of car are also very hard to find, I live in Wisconsin so they are very rare to find, expensive as heck, or they aren't made any more... I have to say though I am a proud owner of an Intrigue, these problems are natural too many cars, but on intrigues they just come faster...laugh out loud.. But I hope you all have good luck with your cars cause there may be worse things to happen to it...
