1993 Opel Astra review from UK and Ireland
"Econonical"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Fuel pump Has broken three times within six months and is costing a fortune. I protest that there must be a problem causing the pump to fail, but to no avail. The garage says that pumps on Astra's are unreliable, but surely that's not good enough.
The starter motor failed completely at 94000.
My car seems to be having a lot of trouble since it hit 90,000 miles.
General comments?
Otherwise it is a reliable and economical car.
A bit slow In the low gears.
