1993 Opel Calibra 16v from Turkey

Summary:

Astonishing

Faults:

An annoying sound is coming from near of the passenger seat.

Although the paintjob is original, it doesn't shine with the Turtle Wax PTFE, which is the most expensive product.

General Comments:

Although my Calibra is 13 years old, it still runs perfectly.

That's it? What do you think of the performance? What engine is it?

1993 Opel Calibra 2.0 16v from Italy

Summary:

A real sport car!

Faults:

The seats have started to make funny noises.

The light of the computer on the dashboard does not switch on when I turn the lights on and the dealer actually could not fix it.

The brakes sensor is broken and it keeps indicating that there is something wrong with my brakes.

General Comments:

Fast car, reliable, not for people used to drive comfortably and smoothly in their family car.

The suspension is rigid (mine has air shock absorbers and sport suspension plus alloy wheels as extra so you feel every single bump of the road, but it gives extra stability).

Lots of power to unlash, 0-100km in less than 8 sec.!!!

1993 Opel Calibra 16v 2.0i 16v petrol from UK and Ireland

Faults:

Oxygen sensor packed up after 45,000km.

Replaced time belt at 45,000km as a precaution.

Not much else other than normal servicing.

General Comments:

After all these years, still a great looking coupe.

A pleasure to drive.

Pity production has stopped, imagine what a new model would have looked like.
